Let me ask you a few questions.
What are you doing right now to promote your Empower Network business?

Is that method or source giving you at least one referral a day?
Here’s the big question… How much did you spend on that advertising?
If all you are doing is trying to keep from spending money by searching for any free advertising you can find on the Internet then ask yourself if doing things that way has ever given you a decent monthly income. I’m guessing it hasn’t.
You have to stop thinking that way. You get out of this what you put into it. The same goes for the people you bring in.
This past Thursday I purchased a solo ad targeted to USA bizopp seekers only for $90. Because of the 3 day holiday weekend my ad didn’t actually go out until Sunday night. This is not the best source I’ve tried but it does prove my point. So far I’ve had about 540 clicks and only 25 optin’s from that ad. My first sale today came from that ad and it was one person who joined for $25 and then upgraded to the Inner Circle membership for $100. Did you catch that? I spent $90 on one ad and just one person joining added $125 to my monthly residual income. If I get no more referrals from that ad it has more than paid for itself. But if I get no more referrals than just that one I probably won’t use them again.
For every 3 ads I purchase this is what I normally see. One ad source will give me horrible results. Maybe a few clicks, no optin’s and no sales. One ad source will give me several optin’s and maybe 1 or 2 sales. One ad source will give me lots of optin’s and 5, 10 or more sales.
Eventually I build a list of excellent advertising sources. Since I know what to expect, I play the game that way so I always get more than I paid for in return.
I am always testing new sources but I can save you some time and some money. My favorite form of advertising is Solo Ads. There are 3 types that I use.
Ezine Solo Ads – More than a year ago I joined the Directory of Ezines. It’s a membership based site that includes a huge database of ezines and all the details about each ezine. There is a simple search and an advanced search option so you can easily find the right ezines to use based on your target audience. Prices range anywhere from $30 to $300 and some being a higher than that because they have literally hundreds of thousands of subscribers. You are basically paying for access to a database where all the research has been done for you. I forget how much it was. I think it was like $197 one time cost for a lifetime membership to the DoE. I feel like my DoE membership, as an Internet Marketer, is one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I have made tons of money from the referrals I got as a result of sending solo ads to those ezines. Directory of Ezines 2.0
If you want to save that money until you’re making some money you can do a Google search for Ezine Directory and find a couple of them that don’t charge. That’s a good start but you will eventually want the DoE membership because it’s the largest database available anywhere and it’s kept up to date. Owned by Charlie Page, by the way.

Warrior Forum Solo Ads – These are probably the most expensive solo ads you can buy. Work your way up to this one. The reason they are so much more is because the list owners always guarantee a high number of clicks with no incentive offered. That’s because their lists are extremely responsive. Well, for the most part, they are. Everywhere you go you will always find some flops. You need to expect some to fail miserably.
David Wood gave an example of this type of solo ad during a webinar during the first week after Empower Network launched. He spent $600 on a solo ad where the guy guaranteed 3000 clicks. David said he got 3000 clicks but no optin’s and no sales. That was a crook. He was generating the clicks himself. Then David went to a different guy and spent $600 again for a guaranteed 2000 clicks. He got his 2000 clicks and got 1200 optin’s.
Now take that number and apply our current conversion rates with Empower Network. This was not a solo ad David purchased for Empower Network because it didn’t exist yet. Right now at least 20% (closer to 30% but let’s be conservative) of all optin’s end up upgrading. 20% of 1200 would be 240 sales at $25 a month. Assuming you have already passed up your 2nd, 4th and 6th sale then every 5th sale would be passed up. So out of 240 sales you still end up with around 190 sales that you keep for $25 a month each. That’s $4750 a month for just one expensive ad for $600.
Guess what? We haven’t even talked about the Inner Circle upgrades and the $500 product sales. You know what the conversion rates are on those 2 products. Have I proved my point yet?
Now you know I cannot guarantee that if you spend $600 on an ad you are going to get that many optins or that many sales. But hey, grab a calculator and figure much worse results. What if you only got 200 optins and 10% of them upgraded? That’s 20 sales. You keep about 16 of them. That’s $400 a month. About 1/3 to half of them will upgrade to the $100 level. Let’s say 1/4 of them. That’s 5 which is another $500 a month. Then at least one or two will buy the $500 product.
So, you understand now right? Do you think all these people making thousands of dollars a week in Empower Network when they have NO list is because they are using free advertising methods? Of course not.
The mental state you need to maintain at all times that will always help you achieve success is to treat your business like a real business. Business owners cannot expect to open the doors one day and see hordes of traffic swooping in. They have to spend a lot of money on advertising. It’s an investment that, if done right, will always return a hefty profit. In our case, with Empower Network, it pays us every month.
Sleep on that and tomorrow come at this with a whole new perspective. Start taking action to grow your business the way it’s supposed to be done. The only way that really works.
